Stage 1 – Nominations

The Lexpert Rising Stars: Leading Lawyers Under 40 honour lawyers from law firms, in-house departments, and other practices. Members of the legal profession in Canada are invited to nominate qualified lawyers who have made outstanding contributions in their careers thus far.

Nominations are open from May 23 to July 8, 2022 11:59 pm ET.

There is no fee to submitting a nomination and only the online nomination form will be accepted.

Stage 2 – Research

All shortlisted submissions are forwarded to the advisory panel comprising esteemed leaders and experts within the legal profession. The panel will assess and vote for the selection of winners according to the relevant criteria.

Voting will commence in August 2022 and their judgment will be impartial, balanced, incisive and fair.

Stage 3 – Winners

Winners will be celebrated at the awards show on November 22, 2022 and on this website. They will also be promoted in Lexpert and supporting publications, Canadian Lawyer and InHouse.

Winners will be profiled in a Lexpert Special Edition in November. Promo packages to leverage your achievement across your marketing and promotions will be available for purchase.
