JACLYN SEIDMAN

Jaclyn Seidman practises in the Entertainment Group at Goodmans LLP and is Co-head of one of the firm’s Business Law Groups. Her diverse practice focuses on Entertainment Law and Transactions involving media companies, social media and IP. Seidman advises several leading entertainment companies and is counsel to a major educational book publisher. Her broad range of transactions includes acquisitions, complex licensing arrangements and corporate reorganizations for clients in the film, TV, theatre, publishing and digital media industries. Seidman has been a board member of the Jewish Chamber of Commerce and the McGill Alumni Association — Toronto Branch. She is a founding Board member of The Advisory Council for McGill’s Women, Leadership and Philanthropy Initiative and has volunteered with the Corsage Project. She teaches business law courses at the University of Toronto Rotman Commerce Department and lectures on Entertainment Law at the University of Toronto Law School.
